they all like this one.....I guess it fits the times....I wouldn't wear these but they like them

Oh yeah the kids are so about these! Is the term 'gauntlet'?
My daughter likes to use up fabric scraps for these. She also makes bracelets and wrist bands. I go crazy trying to keep the bits of fabric in one place. lol

I have my students make a sewing kit. It is really straight forward, straight lines pretty much. Very useful too :) This past week we made sewing cushions (many of them have given their 4th gr. cross stitch cushions to their moms) from a 6 part globe. Worked with their geometry block they'd just finished. Shaped very much like the old tomato pin cushions you see everywhere.
