Handwork Training in Spring Valley NY

So now my 3rd year is complete and we are gearing up for our final year.

6th grade animal adoption

this semester the 6th grade will be adopting a baby elephant from this program

we are also making felted elephants to go along with this project

THis is a very powerful project and all the children know about it now.
I have been doing this adopting project for the past 3 years and all the kids really love it.

5th grade sock making...weaving in the tails6th 6th grade sock monsters.  And they adopeted a polar bear. 3rd grade crochet puppets for stone soupI am so proud of the 5th grade for finishing their socks in only 1/2 the year!!!!!!!! IT CAN BE DONE!!!!!!  not all the kids are here in this picture but they did great!6th grade puppet show for the kindergarten
