3rd grade mainlesson pics and Lunch time

Homework drawing of our house
Some native american story about killing a deer....I need to ask her what the story was again

I make the same lunch for both my girls....But here is a sample of the kind of lunch I send them with.
We use only containers that can be reused....metal water bottle, cloth sandwich wraps, plastic, glass or metal food containers and a cloth lunch bag.......ALL these things help with saving the environment.

I put on a felting workshop to help pay for my teacher training at sunbridge this summer. I had 11 ladies join me.....

here are some pics from last Saturday

Hawaii......ahhhhhh......so much to plan.....

....it's a lot to organize in a very short amount of time.....Plus I have finals....plus I have ten curriculums I have to keep all organized in my brain..... Plus I have to keep up being a good attentive mommy and wife!

Here is a song that we will play at their graduation.....it sums up the wonderful years they have had at school here and their final trip

While doing my homework I came across this site

If you are teaching math to waldorf 8th graders....you might like this video of solids.
http://www.metacafe.com/watch/928529/crazy_paper_cylinder_how_to_make/

the 8th grade and I are going to Hawaii!

So at our school we have tried to form a specialty teacher "guardian" friendship with a chosen grade. I chose to work with 8th grade, the movement teacher works with the 7th grade the upper school Spanish teacher works with the 6th grade etc.

So when the 8th grade is needing extra support or in cases where they are going on a field trip and need extra faculty members....the guardian steps in.

So it's time for the graduating class to go on their class trip.....

we will be camping and swimming with the dolphins and scuba diving, hiking into a volcano etc.....

should be fun.......
we leave in May...................WOW!
