THe more I think about it the more I want a bunch of people to be involve in this book.

I want it to be collection of handwork lectures, patterns, thoughts, verses, songs, and experiences from teachers, parents and children.!!!!!!

oooooooew I love it!

What do I name it?

If you can think of a name I will put a thank you to your family for naming the book.

And if you want to put a story in the book, a pattern, thoughts, songs experiences.....you will receive a free book

You have such a great idea here! It sounds like something I'd really like to read. Best of luck to you as you write your book. I'll look forward to reading it.

Maybe something with Hauch in the title - Hauch inspired handworks & stories. Boring but dedicating is nice.

Alrighty, I have been mulling this over since the first book post and the title that keeps coming to me is, "Whatever the Weather". One of the things I love about our Waldorf handwork experience is that it isn't simply a Winter, trapped-inside sort of activity (as it is for so many mainstream children). Handwork is just a part of our everyday life. On sunny days, our weaving or our knitting goes outside with us! In the cold of the Winter, we make candles or dye wool. Throughout the year, as we walk and explore, we collect pieces of nature to use in our handwork.

And for me, this title immediately recalls our eurythmist (I can see her movements so clearly with my mind's eye).

Just a thot (or two).

I have had some patterns & handwork ideas for some time. I was planning on starting the handwork training at RSC this year, but things didn't work out.

Anyhoo, my collection is not big enough to make a book, but I would love to contribute to your book. This is a fabulous idea I would love to support.

Hi! I've been enjoying your blog for the last couple of months and I think it's a brilliant idea for you to write a book.

We live in Germany and here children go to Kindergarten for 3 years from the age of 3 and then start school at 6. Our eldest daughter has been going to our local Waldorf Kindergarten, but for a number of reasons, we've decided not to send her to the school. This leaves us in the position where we would still like to embrace the Waldorf tradition and continue all of the beautiful things that we've been exposed to in the Kindergarten, but we're a bit unsure about how exactly to go about this in the best way. There are zillions of books on all the 'Waldorf' crafts, but very little information on what's age-appropriate for small children or a curriculum of crafts as they would be carried out in a Waldorf school through the grades.

I was really surprised (and gratefull!!) when you gave some information about this a few months ago, and was waiting to see how long it would take before someone tried to stop you. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and knowledge with us. I do understand that people have to pay a lot of money to get this information, but I don't understand why it has to be guarded from those who can't afford to pay to do a Steiner course. That's why the idea to write a book on this is such a great idea.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how your ideas on this develop. By the way, maybe the name of the book will reveal itself to you once you're working on it!

Wishing you all the best.
