I keep dreaming

I keep dreaming of going to Europe with my family and traveling for several months. come home for year and then go back for year and stay in some small village....

I wish I had some European friends...it would make this dream so much more a reality.

DO you ever feel pulled some place and you don't know why?

Maybe its all in the mind and not a reality at all or maybe there is some life experience that needs to take place there and my soul is just constantly reminding me

so funny to read your post this morning, because lately - whenever anybody mentions France, or England, or the Galapagos Islands !!!, I want to go. It's almost a yearning.
And yes, I did make the music pendants, and people seem to like them, so I'll be making more. They're in my Etsy shop. :0)

Hey there from Alaska!

IRELAND.
I once read about a man who circumnavigated Ireland in his sea kayak. He wrote of the concept of cellular memory-the idea of having tangible memories of your ancestors kind of "imprinted" in your biology. This is why many experience a sense of coming home or having been there before when traveling to a particular place.
I haven't been to Ireland yet but I have had similar feelings when hearing irish music, seeing pictures, hearing an accent, etc.
As a child I dreampt of the Cliffs of Mohr before I ever saw a picture or heard about them.
Pretty surreal stuff. I'm definatley pulled THERE.

I keep thinking about Europe too! It is somewhere out there in the fuzziness of future...

Oh Yes! We went to France for three months when Amelia was in fourth grade. Jerome's family all live there so its not too hard to visit. I wish we could have been there longer, but we were quite ready to come home, if we had our own place there I could have stayed forever, but Amelia and I were staying with his sister in the South of France helping to build their house so we had cramped temporary lodgings. So much to see, so much to do, I wish I could have spoke the language more fluently but nearly everyone I met could speak English. Now that we are farming full-time I do not think we can visit for such a long time, but I would love to go back. Amelia is thinking about going to High School in Luxembourg, Jerome's sister sends her children to the Waldorf School there.....We will see.

Mmmmmmmm, I hanker for a cottage in a village.
Somewhere they speak English though 'cause I'm too old to learn a 3rd language. ;) Xxx

I've always felt drawn to the British Isles - especially little English villages. I feel like I belong there even though I live very far away. Strange.

It's funny because lately we're all yearning for America after our amazing holiday last year.
