3rd and 4th grade

a hemp bowl/ vase...actually I don't know what to call it. but the 3rd grade will be crocheting these babies
The embroidered pin cushion is for the 4th graders. I don't know how many will get to this project. it took me a while to do.. But I like the idea of the parent handwork doing this.

Well its actually really easy! Just stick a hand full of batted wool in a sock and wash it. after that you will get a hard eggish shape of hard wool. Then you start on the embroidery. This is all done in the chain stitch. just keep making lines and curve them around, then follow them with another color till you are done.
I might have to show you :)
