kinder class

Still working on blue and purple....but here is the beginning of a toy for kinder class. it also needs to be felted.

Kinderdolls....one doll was in the kindergarten and it had a very dirty face. so I brought her home and took off her head and put new skin on...I hand washed the body and dried her in the sun.. . Then I made another doll the same size...I'm not sure how many dolls the Kindergarten needs but once I start...its hard to stop.

hollyhock flowers for plant dyeing....my result was only a little off white...the dye tried to make purple but it did not work. I think too few flowers......I don't know....

here are some crafts for the Kinder classroom

beautiful holyhocks! It would be hard for me to boil them up!
That kinder toy is such a clever idea! Hope you will show us the felted version. I just bought a pair of knitting kneedles and yarn-can't wait to learn how to knit!
I would love to repair my oldest daughters waldorf doll but it would totally change who she is! So now she's Scar Face!

I just love the stacking toy! Please please come to NZ and be our handwork teacher - we would love you here and I'm sure you would love us :) What is making you think of coming here- holiday or serious relocation?

I love the dolls! I was also taken by your post about sharing. I can't imagine NOT sharing my knowledge...it seems so selfish. If we all spent more time giving and less worrying about what someone might take wouldn't it be a much happier world!

I love the stacking rainbow thing. Make sure you bring that to Sunbridge.
I use to hoard my ideas and then it started to make me snippy so then I decided to Share Share Share when ever I could. Sometimes I then don't make a sale but its really not that important because its not what put food on the table. My crafts are for me. For some people its a fine line...
I'm glad you share too :)

Such beautiful dolls! I need to give some of our dollies a bath and a sprucing up... My son carries one around everywhere, and also has an unfortunate tendency to pull at the embroidered features. I think I might try to paint them on next time. Any suggestions? I apologize for my extreme delay in posting any instructions whatsoever! Summer has taken over my life; I can't seem to stop picking and freezing strawberries. Nice stopping by.
