lots of thoughts

I am playing catch up at the moment. I posted about 4 times yesterday with thoughts I want to share. I don't have the chance during the week so by Friday I have lots to say.

Some friends of ours (a married couple) just went on a 2 week journey to India. and I have been reading her Blog and have been taken back in time to when I lived there for 4 years when I went to an International High School. Her journey is wonderful I encourage you to read it.

Next on the list it eating better. Poppy & Mei's mom has inspired me to vigorously be more conscious of my diet.

We do eat pretty well. all organic, vegetarian simple eaters. But it's not enough these days.

when I came back from my February handwork training I was inspired to start making this kale drink that one of the other students would make every morning.
so since Feb. I have had this drink every morning.
its Kale, mustard greens, spinach, dandelion leaf papaya juice, orange juice and then we blend

Love the new header! Tell me more about it. I am also interested to know about this international High School you went to, did your family live there? I don't think I can Homeschool Amelia for HS. I am looking at different options, one is sending her to France or Luxembourg where we have family. But it is hard to think about sending her away:(

Boarding school was the BEST thing that my parents offered to me at that age! I have a wonderful relationship with my parents and I have always been a "good" girl. so it wasn't like I was going for "problem" reasons. It was for personal growth, culture and development. it was a soul calling.

I think Green Meadows will do Boarding school. I know there is a waldorf high school with boarding option in New Zealand. We are considering this for our girls if they don't choose India.

I've similarly been inspired to eat better by Bex's blog. I've been eating a lot more fresh fruits and veggies, but I just haven't been able to find a green smoothie I can drink yet. I'm trying ;)

Beautiful new header. That drink looks great - I juice our breakfast in the mornings...have to try that combo!

I am reading a book right now about a woman who lived in India as a child - and because of that a book on Indian clay interior designs. Interesting!

Interesting shake!I'm not sure I'm brave enough to face kale first thing in the morning though;)

I haven't tried it out yet. I don't own a blender. :-) Gotta buy a blender first. It sounds yummy & healthy, though!
