speech work for 8th-10th grade

After verse it is good to do speech work , song and movement


Curtsey (cressets) Betsy jets cleric
lastly (plotless) slight sceptic.

Tu-whit twinkle ‘twas
twice twigged tweaker
to twenty twangy twirlings
the zinnia crisper
zither zooming shambles
this smartened smacking
smuggler sneezing
snoring snatching.

Narrow wren
Mirror royal
Gearing grizzled
Noting nippers
Fender coughing.

Proxy Prized
Bather Broomstick
Polka Pushing
Beady Basket
Prudent Pertness
Bearskin Bristled

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers;
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked;
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
He would chuck, he would, as much as he could,
and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would
if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Lesser leather never weathered wetter weather better.

She sells sea shells by the sea shore.
The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I'm sure she sells seashore shells.
