I am a handwork teacher at Prairie Moon Waldorf school in Lawrence Kansas. I am teach knitting in the round with double pointed needles to our 5th and 6th grade class. We have started learning knitting in the round by knitting a wrist band/bracelet, but we want to make socks. What pattern did you use and What very simple pattern would you suggest for intermediate students. Thank you so much for your posts!

Hi! I think I may have run into a co-worker of yours at the January conference at Rudolf Steiner college in Fair Oaks, CA! It was a great conference, not much for Handwork, but still great (Helloooo, Eugene Schwartz, one of my fave speakers!)
Anyhoo, small Waldorf world, huh?

I enjoy the inspiration you offer. Thank you. Like OnlyOneHook above I'm curious as to the sock pattern you use with your 5th graders. Keep up the beautiful work.
